1.) Open your Outlook calendar and click New Skype Meeting.


2.) Add invitees, subject and agenda, and then choose a date/time.


3.) Click Scheduling Assistant to check staff availability.


4.) To add attachments to a Skype for Business meeting:

        a.) Click Insert tab.

        b.) Select Attach File.

        c.) Browse to the file you want to include.


5.) Before sending the email:

        a.) Click Meeting Options icon in the Outlook ribbon to review meeting permissions.

        b.) Click A new meeting space to enable the meeting permissions of your choice.

        c.) Click Send once the meeting invite is completed.


Note: If someone doesn't have Skype for Business, they can click on the link from the email invite to join.


For impromptu meetings: 

  1. Click Meetings tab in Skype for Business.
  2. Click Meet Now button.
  3. Invite the person you'd like to chat with and click OK.
