Adding the Authenticator App for Multi-Factor Authentication

You can start by Signing into Outlook if you have not done so before. When you attempt to sign in, it will prompt you to download Authenticator. You can download Authenticator from our Self Service App Store without using an Apple ID. Self Service is generally found on the second page of applications.

Once downloaded, it may ask you if you would like to add an account and what kind. You will select Work Account. You will then need to enter your ODE username. This is generally last name, first initial followed by @ode.state.or.us

After signing in you may get a series of privacy and security prompts like the ones below. Please read and accept to move to the next step.

It will then Text your existing phone number with a six digit code. Once you enter this code, it will ask you if you would like to add another account, at which time you will tell it No and it will take you to the main screen and you will be all set up!
