The User Principal Name (UPN) change does impact links for Office 365 files and folders because those links are attached to your email address. This may also impact your ability to access personal Teams recordings or notes. (This does NOT impact recordings or notes from official group meetings.)


Use the following instructions to update bookmarks to old links. You can use just steps 2 and 3 to edit URLs for documents and folders.


Important Note: The following is only necessary for links created prior to the UPN change. Links created after the UPN change should work without issue. If you do encounter issues with new links, please contact the ODE Help Desk.


1. Select the bookmarked link you want to update. Right click and select "Edit". (The example below is from Microsoft Edge.)



2. Find the portion of the link that contains "ode_state_or_us".

(Example: https://odemail-my.sharepoint.com/:w:/g/personal/doej_ode_state_or_us/EeSIXB4QY6hNky2xjGSeUFkBnb_aNSFBZ3CwDsZrA0gWdg?e=MaRVcB)


3. Replace the "ode_state_or_us" with "ode_oregon_gov".

(Example: https://odemail-my.sharepoint.com/:w:/g/personal/doej_ode_oregon_gov/EeSIXB4QY6hNky2xjGSeUFkBnb_aNSFBZ3CwDsZrA0gWdg?e=MaRVcB)


4. Click "Save" to save the change to the link.
