If you are a “Send As” or “Send on Behalf” delegate for a shared mailbox, it is likely that the change from ode.state.or.us to ode.oregon.gov has broken your ability to do so.  This is quite easy to fix, and here are the steps:

  1. Open Outlook and do a “New Email”

 

  1. Click the “From” dropdown button

 

 

  1. Click the “X” next to the old ode.state.or.us version of the mailbox you are wanting to send an e-mail from:

  1. With the “From” dropdown still up, now click on “Other E-mail Address”

 

  1. Now click the “From…” button

 

 

  1. In the Address Book that pops up, either scroll or search for the mailbox you wish to send as and verify it has the new @ode.oregon.gov e-mail address and double-click on it.

 

 

  1. Make sure the “From…” field has the correct mailbox in it and click “OK”

 

 

 

The “From” dropdown will now have the new updated e-mail address and you should be able to send e-mail from it.  This will also save it in the dropdown for future use:
