Make sure to install Microsoft Remote Desktop Client on your device. You can find this in the App Store. Once it is installed, you will see the following icon associated with it:
Before you can connect to your work desktop, you will need to configure the Remote Desktop Client. (If you already have the Remote Desktop Client configured, skip to Step 7.)
1.) Open the Remote Desktop Client. You will see the following:
2.) Add a Connection Name. This can be anything you chose to call it.
3.) Add a PC name. This is the name of your work desktop and usually takes the form of "Lastname-Firstname".
4.) Add your Username. This is the same username that you use to log in to your work desktop.
5.) Add the Gateway of "webcon.ode.state.or.us".
6.) Once the above sections are filled in, click "Save" to save the connection.
7.) From the Remote Desktop application menu, click the connection you want.
8.) Enter your ODE username and password and click "Logon".
9.) You should be connected to your desktop! When you are done with your remote connection, click the disconnect session icon in the upper right hand corner.
