Shadow Copies of Shared Folders enable users to:
- Recover files without assistance from the Help Desk staff.
- Recover files that were not saved using the “Save As” command.
- Access the copies with Windows Explorer and by selecting one of three options - View, Copy, or Restore - which are located on the new "Previous Versions" tab.
Important Note: Shadow Copies are NOT available for folders or files on the hard drive of your computer.
